We will design programmes in accordance with customer needs, however we set out as an example how a programme designed for the U.S.A. looks, from it you may design your own particular needs.
You will find details of the proposed 28 days of activities designed for 16 to 18 year olds, who have come through the sailing camp experience in the USA. These incorporate the principle of learning the intricacies of sail in surroundings which are outstandingly beautiful, safe, and dotted as you will see on the archaeological map with literally hundreds of ancient monuments worthy of visiting.

These sea days are interspersed with art adventure with renowned Island artist Ian Humphreys, where you will be able to recreate some of the Celtic art observed on sailing day trips with stone on a nearby deserted island. Irish gourmet cooking will be taught by internationally acclaimed chef John Desmond of the Island Cottage Restaurant. In addition on Sunday as we reflect, basket making and lobster pot making will be taught. 

Perhaps the highlight of the month may be the 24 hour cruise on The Inisbeg around the Fastnet rock and on up to the Skellig rock, landing here has been described as more exhilarating than some of the wonders of the ancient world such as the Egyptian pyramids.
Individual activities will be catered for the fostering of teamwork and the sailing instruction will be carried out on the G.R.P. Dublin Bay Mermaids designed by the renowned naval architect John Breslin Kearney. They are a modern version of a wooden classic, an ideal blend of dayboat and racing dinghy. The class today still turns out one of the largest regatta fleets in Irish yacht racing. Younger day sailors are catered for with the Topper Topaz and a fleet of kayaks are there for fun on windless days.

A trip to Ireland would not be complete without visiting the interpretive centre at Cobh, the Holy Ground being the point of departure for many Irish emigrants, and Blarney Castle so that you may return with just a touch of what it is famous for.

Departure will be east coast USA to Shannon flying with Aer Lingus the Irish national carrier, it is hoped to keep the cost for all activities provided in the region of US$5000 (inc. flights) for 28 days, the only extra required is pocket money.

Art Adventure with Ian Humpherys Ian humphreys the renowned artist who lives on the island with his family will help you to discover the inner artist. You will discover the many forms art can take, using as a backdrop the historic sites visited, celtic mythology and the many forms of flotsam and jetsam found on your visits to Carbery's 100 isles.
